1. Measurements
Send Us Your Plans with Measurements:
To begin design work, we need plans or sketches with measurements of your space including walls, doors, windows, and ceiling height. Please send all plans, sketches, photo references, and videos to info@sawbox.com.

Why video?
Video provides valuable on-site context that complements the plans you provide. A quick video eliminates guesswork and communication hurdles so we can quickly get to a viable layout.
View Example Remodel Video

Quickly record video that captures the following:

  • Pass 1: Pan across all walls where they connect to the floors.
  • Pass 2: Pan across all walls where they connect to the ceilings.
  • Pass 3 (if applicable): Video island or peninsula zones with adjacent perimeter walls in frame for spatial context.

Note: You can usually text message a short video (10 seconds or less) directly to info@sawbox.com. Longer videos should be sent as a standard email to info@sawbox.com.
2. Scope
3. Appliances
Why we need appliance information:
Appliance dimensions dictate cabinet sizes, ventilation clearances, and many other cabinet layout details. When possible, provide manufacturer model numbers so we can fit to spec sheet tolerances.
Common Appliance Types:

Refrigerator • Range / Cooktop • Wall Oven • Microwave / Drawer • Dishwasher • Range Hood / Vent • Washer • Dryer

4. Sinks
Why we need sink information:
Sink selection affects cabinet construction and various layout considerations. Please provide the model number or size and type of each sink.
Common Sink Types:

Undermount • Drop-In • Apron Front (aka Farmhouse) • Vessel (aka basin or bowl) • Wall-mounted • Freestanding (aka utility)
